Welcome to 'Just Peachey' for 2010. I trust you all had a great summer. Parliament resumes tomorrow after summer recess.

The big challenge for the Government this year will be to introduce policies that will get the New Zealand economy growing to its full potential after the most damaging recession since the Great Depression of the 1930's.

It is probably timely to remember the slogan that we went into the 2008 campaign with;

"Ambitious for New Zealand ". Be assured that despite the financial and fiscal difficulties of our first year's office that ambition remains.

It will be a tough year for the Government but a productive one for the country.
